What you’re looking at

This 24/7 stream looks across the Hangang in central Seoul toward Banpo Bridge, showing the river, bridge traffic, skyline and changing light over the water. In clear weather the wide view is useful for comparing daytime visibility, sunset color and the illuminated city after dark. Rain, low cloud and seasonal haze can change the scene quickly, so the live picture and the weather panel above are more useful than a saved photograph.

Banpo Hangang Park occupies the southern bank of the river around Banpo Bridge and the lower Jamsu Bridge, between Hannam Bridge upstream and Dongjak Bridge downstream. The Korea Tourism Organization lists the riverside park as a year-round public space with bicycle routes, sports facilities, picnic areas, a boat quay and access to Seoraeseom Island. The official address is 40 Sinbanpo-ro 11-gil, Seocho-gu, Seoul.

The bridge is best known for the Moonlight Rainbow Fountain, installed along both sides of Banpo Bridge. Seoul Metropolitan Government describes the installation as 1,140 metres long and notes its Guinness World Records recognition. Fountain shows are seasonal and scheduled, so a normal live view may show only the bridge and river; viewers should not expect the water display to run continuously.

Some Sevit's illuminated floating islands and the broad Seoul riverscape also make this area a popular evening viewpoint. Conditions in the embedded stream can change independently of published attraction schedules, and exact camera placement may differ from the map marker.
