This camera shows the Wuling area on the high road through Hehuanshan, between the Main Peak and East Peak. The exposed saddle is a useful place to check cloud, visibility and whether the mountains are clear before stopping or continuing on a hike.
Taiwan Forest Recreation identifies Wuling as the highest point on Taiwan’s highway system and places it within the Hehuanshan National Forest Recreation Area. From this high saddle, the surrounding peaks and alpine vegetation define the scene, while winter conditions can bring snow and road controls.
