What you’re looking at
This camera looks out from Hutoushan Environmental Park, a hilltop viewpoint close to central Taoyuan. It is a useful live check of city visibility, cloud and the change from daytime skyline to night lights.
Taoyuan Tourism places the park at about 251 meters in elevation and describes it as a convenient city-view location not far from Taoyuan Station. Its elevated position is why haze and low cloud can make a noticeable difference to the depth of the panorama.
